About The RoleThe Principal Flow Assurance Engineer will be part of the engineering team based in Paris and the wider global discipline engineering community. The successful candidate will demonstrate relevant expertise in Flow Assurance and have additional competencies in CFD and/or Process, allowing for diversification of jobs.
Main Accountabilities And Responsibilities- Controls relevant discipline engineering activities to ensure completion of safe and operable design in accordance with Genesis and project requirements, relevant laws, regulations, and codes.
- Reviews job scope and provides estimates and schedules.
- Communicates regularly with Client / Study Manager to ensure objectives are being met in a timely manner.
- Reviews all relevant discipline data.
- Interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
- Performs simulation of selected cases as defined by project.
- Undertakes calculations in accordance with Genesis and project quality requirements.
- Develops engineering strategies, philosophies, and procedures.
- Performs quality checks of discipline models, calculations, and reports.
- Participates in project presentations to communicate results.
- Reviews all data requested by Client for approval.
- Participates in safety and design review meetings, where necessary.
- Provides support to younger engineers and mentors assigned personnel.
- Participates in Genesis global knowledge sharing initiatives within their engineering discipline.
- Performs all reasonable job tasks required by their Manager/Lead.
- Capacity to lead small discipline engineering teams and/or lead small projects.
- Sustain a high-value Safety culture and assure a safe working environment in keeping with Technip Energies programme and of Client requirements (in offices and on-site environments).
- To be responsible for follow-up and management of QHSE on projects and assigned personnel.
We're looking for a highly experienced Flow Assurance Engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5-10 years dedicated to Flow Assurance experience using software such as OLGA. Experience in CFD studies and associated software would be a plus. A master's degree in a relevant subject is required, and proficiency in English is essential.
