Overview: Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a skilled Sales Applications Specialist focused on Microbiology and Pathological Anatomy for a prominent client in the Healthcare sector.

Role Responsibilities: The selected candidate will oversee the Central Area of the peninsula, specifically focusing on regions such as Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Aragon, and Navarra. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including:

  • Driving sales and promoting applications.
  • Conducting customer training sessions and demonstrations.
  • Providing technical support to ensure optimal performance of reagents, instruments, and IT solutions in Microbiology and Pathological Anatomy laboratories.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or a related field, preferably with a focus on infectious diseases.
  • A PhD or MD is considered advantageous.
  • Proven experience in sales and/or marketing within the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with molecular testing and RT-PCR techniques.
  • A strong foundation in life sciences, particularly in molecular microbiology, infectious diseases, and biotechnology.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience with Hamilton devices (STAR/Starlet/Nimbus) is a plus.
  • IT skills, including programming experience.
  • Background as a molecular laboratory technician.
  • Experience in the IVD industry is also desirable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20-30% of the time.
