Key Responsibilities:- Represent the hotel management overnight and oversee Front Office Operations.
- Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to execute departmental goals, including colleague engagement, guest satisfaction, loyalty program enrollment and management, and upsell revenues.
- Verify the accuracy of Night Audit balances and ensure the summary of dialing transactions in the hotel.
- Determine guest relocation for nights when overcapacity and facilitate a smooth relocation process.
- Respond to emergency calls and ensure operational support areas are covered to provide excellent customer service.
- Assume a key lead role during emergency response needs according to hotel's emergency procedures.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, reporting potential safety issues to the manager whenever observed.
- Lead and coach colleagues to provide luxury guest service.
- Act as the first point of contact for escalations to identify and resolve guest concerns in an urgent manner.
- As Manager on Duty, serve as a resource and support to all departments to ensure a smooth overall operation of the hotel.
- Develop and implement upsell incentive programs to motivate employees and maximize hotel revenue.
- Manage, train, develop, and motivate all colleagues reporting to this position.
- Provide assistance with blocking/inventory management.
- Meet and greet VIPs, escort to room, and follow up on the comfort of their stay as required.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a night shift capacity.
- Relevant industry study, such as a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Management.
- Valid First Aid certificate.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and front office systems.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Full driver's license essential.
