The Global Procurement Solar Associate will play a key role in contributing to the development and execution of our ambitious strategy, aiming to establish long-term partnerships with world-class suppliers of Solar equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Procurement Strategy
- Drive and support the Procurement Manager Solar in all strategic initiatives to achieve long-term partnerships with suppliers.
- Procurement Processes
- Execute RFIs, RFPs/RFQs, and bid processes to evaluate product options and select the right supplier for a given project or set of projects.
- Manage negotiations regarding purchase Solar supply agreements, involving other EDP areas as required.
- Comply with EDP internal approval processes and guidelines.
- Relationship Management
- Develop a close network with solar industry players and stakeholders, providing strategic market intelligence.
- Cross-functional support and interaction with other EDP areas, including Legal, Business Development, Technology, Construction, Operations & Asset Management, M&A, Origination, Finance, Risk, and Energy Assessment.
- Academic skills
University Degree in technical and/or business financial areas.
- Professional experience
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience in Solar Industry, preferably in Procurement or Commercial.
- Experience with supply contract negotiation and management, contract models, and industry terms and conditions.
- Experience with strategic equipment procurement tenders and market competitive analysis.
- Competency in developing Business Relationships.
- Behavioral requirements

Expected minimum 25% travel for supplier meetings, solar farm visits, industry fairs, and global team meetings.
