Azure Cloud Solutions Architect

The Azure Cloud Lead is a pivotal position that combines market, sales, and solutioning expertise with people and delivery excellence. This role is responsible for helping clients migrate to the cloud, modernize legacy applications, and develop new cloud-native applications to deliver real business value.
This position owns the strategy that ensures the region Practice has the right capabilities to seize market advantage and drive business growth. The Azure Cloud Lead collaborates with business leaders in the region from other practices, Solution Areas, Business Groups, Integrated Go-to-Market, Sales, and Client Service Leads.
Key Responsibilities- Work proactively with Sales, Client Account, and Line of Business/Play Leads to identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities that drive additional sales and revenues.
- Provide support for sales development and closure, including insights, demonstrations, proposal creation, client presentations, and contract input.
- Offer expert solutioning support to assist with sales development/closure.
- Assist with contextualizing global go-to-market motions, such as Plays, to make them relevant and impactful in the regional market.
- Meet sales and revenue targets for respective Solution Area.
- Drive Results, Ensure Accountability, and Customer Focus.
This role requires strong Microsoft Azure knowledge in infrastructure and application resources, including IaaS and PaaS flavors. The ideal candidate should have skills in Azure networking, migrations, governance, security, and infrastructure as a Code.
Additionally, the Azure Cloud Lead should have experience working with global teams, strong written and spoken English skills, and a technical degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or Maths.
