**Job Summary**

As the Engineering Department Manager at Calmar Land Development Corporation, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing engineering projects and operations. You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of engineering initiatives. Your technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management abilities will contribute to the efficient and effective implementation of engineering projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement department procedures, programs, and policies in alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand project goals, scope, and timelines, and develop detailed project plans, including engineering deliverables, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Assist the Business Development Department in the completion of technical data needed for permit applications.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Exercise administrative control over all employees of the department in all matters pertaining to work performance, attendance, discipline, and enforcement of company rules and regulations.
  • Oversee all key processes in the Engineering Department, including planning, supervising, and coordinating all department activities from surveying, planning and design, and construction of various projects.
