Boston Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping our clients make informed business decisions by analyzing complex data sets and developing actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality Analysis: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis and insights to our clients, typically owning all or part of an analytics module while integrating with a case team.
- Establish Credibility: You will establish credibility by thought partnering with case teams on analytics topics, drawing conclusions on a range of external and internal issues related to your module.
- Execute Analytical Approach: You will execute an analytical approach and create defined outcomes, contributing to approach selection focusing on problem-solving and client value aspects.
- Apply Analytical Skills: You will apply analytical, statistical, and programming skills, building models, creating algorithms, and using appropriate tools to discover knowledge from a variety of large and versatile data sources.
- Communicate Insights: You will communicate analytical insights through sophisticated synthesis and packaging of results, including PPT slides and charts, with consultants.
- Develop Expertise: You will develop broad expertise in at least one analytics topic or platform.
- Education: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or similar.
- Experience: 1 - 3 years within relevant domain of Advanced Analytics and Software Development across industries and work experience providing analytics solutions in a commercial setting.
- Skills: Strong analytical solutioning skills with hands-on experience in advanced analytics delivery, proficiency in Data Cleansing, Data Transformation, and Data Modelling, overall fluency in Python, and experience with data visualization using charting tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must-have, business fluency in Spanish and other European languages (German, French) highly desirable.
