Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Researcher/Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team at the Abi Global Health AI Lab. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our AI/ML solutions, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • AI/ML Solution Development: Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and algorithms to enhance our virtual care platform, ensuring scalability, resilience, and accuracy.
  • Research and Innovation: Conduct research in AI/ML, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements, and exploring new technologies to drive innovation and improve our services.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior colleagues, and foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning.
  • Experimentation and Evaluation: Design, conduct, and evaluate experiments to validate the effectiveness of AI/ML solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing performance.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, ML, or a related field, with a strong background in software development, data science, and AI/ML.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ML algorithms, statistics, and software development, with experience in ML frameworks (e.g., Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn).
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, or GC ML) and experience with containerization (e.g., Docker).
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global, distributed team.
