About the Role

The Automation Engineer Lead will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of automated manufacturing lines for radioligand therapies at Advanced Accelerator Applications (Italy). This role will involve managing a team of Automation Specialists and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of automated manufacturing lines for radioligand therapies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage a team of Automation Specialists, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure their continuous professional development and growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance, reliability, and efficiency of the automation systems used on the manufacturing lines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address any issues or challenges related to the automation and computer system validation processes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to automation in radioligand therapy manufacturing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing teams in an automation or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of automation systems, computer system validation, and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of radioligand therapy manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus.
  • Fluency in English written and verbal is required for this role.
