Role Overview

The Product Manager plays a pivotal role within our organization, collaborating closely with the Technical Manager, C&I, and CAD teams, and is accountable for the design and enhancement of our standard product offerings.

As a member of our Technical Development team, we are in search of a new Product Manager to oversee the product life cycle of our water treatment solutions:

Develop, design, standardize, and enhance skid-mounted units in alignment with market expectations communicated by market specialists and group experts. Collaborate with Customer Service and Procurement teams to facilitate product design advancements until BOM updates are completed. Contribute to our product offerings both internally and externally. Regularly assess client expectations and supplier innovations. Provide technical support to VWT's workshop for the manufacturing and enhancement of standard products. Assist customer service by sizing and designing pre-engineered systems during tender and execution phases to support Business Development teams. Create and manage technical and sales documentation for various product lines. Support Veolia's Business Units globally in selling, installing, and operating products in collaboration with Business Development teams. Offer technical assistance to the Business Development team during the request for quotations (RFQ) stage, including specifications and product definitions. Adhere to the Technical Development methodology outlined in our Quality Management System.

Qualifications

A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent is preferred. Proven experience and expertise in water treatment are essential. Skills in Process Water treatment (Chemical Process and treatment performance) are required. General engineering knowledge (Hydraulic, mechanical design, supplier insights, software, and CAD proficiency). Familiarity with industrial water treatment processes is advantageous (Softening, Reverse Osmosis, Electro deionization, ion exchange, etc.). A strong interest in Product Management (Product Life Cycle, Standardization) is necessary. Project management experience would be beneficial. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely. Fluency in English, French, and Spanish is mandatory. Proficiency in either French, German, or Mandarin is a plus. Ability to maintain analytical judgment under tight deadlines.
