Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Rooms Controller to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our Front Desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Block all VIP and FPC rooms 7 days in advance based on established standards and protocols.
  • Ensure all guest reservations are accurately reflected in our systems, facilitating smooth communication and service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the Housekeeping Department to ensure timely delivery of special requests and maintain a balanced inventory of rooms.
  • Review and communicate group reservations to ensure all Front Desk, Guest Services, and Royal Service teams are informed and aligned.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate any potential challenges to the Front Desk Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager.
  • Comply with all Fairmont standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Review and expedite room turnover, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Coordinate luggage delivery and communicate room readiness to guests.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest personal data and information.
  • Respond to guest queries in a positive and professional manner.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and fluency in English, with a secondary language preferred.
