Job Title: Field Service Technician

TOMRA is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Spain. As a key member, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers in the southeastern region of Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, maintain, optimize, and repair sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation bases.
  • Ensure maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through effective communication and support.
  • Optimize sorting systems/processes through sampling and testing.
  • Identify opportunities to add value to our customers' businesses by introducing complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and Headquarters, gathering and providing market feedback to continuously improve customer service and identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Completed secondary technical school (FP2) or higher with a specialization in electrician/electronics, automatics, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
  • Reside within approximately 200 km radius of Alicante's main airport.
  • Willingness to travel 80% or more within southeastern Spain and occasional trips to Portugal, with a flexible schedule.
  • Work experience in an industrial environment with a focus on on-site preventive and curative maintenance would be a big plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, PC configuration, network structures.
  • A certain talent for communication when dealing with people - in our case these are customers.
  • Native in Spanish and proficient in English.
  • Full clean driving license required.
  • Knowledge of recycling processes is a plus.
