About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our data center design projects. As a key member of our Fleet Remediation Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for our operational data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions that add data center infrastructure, capacity, improve availability, and increase sustainability.
  • Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
  • Support construction, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Be detail and data oriented with familiarity with design/construction processes.
  • Build trust and relationships with different stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Commissioning, Construction and Design).
A Day in the Life

As an Electrical Engineer on our team, you will interact with different teams responsible for various aspects of the data centers. You will mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers in your discipline. You will have the opportunity to work on projects locally and globally, with up to 25% travel.

About the Team

The Fleet Remediation Team is a multidisciplinary engineering team that delivers engineering design support to operational AWS data centers. We ensure safety, availability, and resilience of data center infrastructure.

What We Offer
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ cumulative years of design experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation, oil / gas facilities.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years data center design experience.
