We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our pipeline development efforts in Medical Affairs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and expertise to drive the development and implementation of our pipeline strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Pipeline Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of our pipeline strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Medical Leadership: Provide medical leadership and expertise to drive the development and implementation of our pipeline strategy, ensuring that our medical affairs activities are aligned with our business objectives.
- Collaboration and Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including clinical development, operations, and global medical affairs, as well as external stakeholders, including medical experts and industry partners.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the development and implementation of our pipeline strategy, including identifying and prioritizing key initiatives and projects.
- Medical Expertise: Maintain a high level of knowledge in complex disease areas, treatments, and clinical development plans, and provide medical expertise to support the development and implementation of our pipeline strategy.
- Medical Degree: Medical degree (MD, PharmD preferred) with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in rare diseases in Medical Affairs and clinical research and development.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading a Medical Affairs team and developing and implementing medical affairs strategies to ensure successful product development and commercialization.
- Business Fluency: Business fluency in English and at least one other major European language.
- European or Global Launch Experience: Experience in new product planning and European or global launch experience in rare diseases is a must.
