Job Overview:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Telephony Solutions Architect (f/m) to be part of our Information Management Department.

In this role, you will be integrated into the Devices and Services team within the Airbus Digital Workplace Department, which is dedicated to modernizing the work methods of Airbus employees.

The primary objective of the Devices and Services team is to empower employees by providing advanced 'endpoint' services and facilitating access to Airbus business applications and solutions, regardless of their location.

Your responsibilities will encompass the provision, configuration, deployment, and management of:

  • Virtualization Solutions for Computer Systems,
  • Printing & Scanning Services,
  • Application & Store Management,
  • Telephony Solutions.

As a Telephony Solutions Architect, you will contribute to the architecture of the Telephony product and provide technical expertise to the team.

All activities will be conducted within the framework of international IT transformation and Airbus Digitization initiatives (including Smartphone for all, IPT Upgrade, Cloud Migration, etc.).

You will collaborate closely with team members, subcontractors, project/program managers, Service Delivery Managers, Security Officers, business representatives, and other IT teams across Europe.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Architecture management, ensuring effective oversight from project initiation through to operational management.
  • Act as the Technical Expert to provide guidance and deliver specific technology or methodology use cases.
  • Balance technological possibilities with business process requirements.
  • Define the medium to long-term roadmap for the product, considering implications for resources, budget, and processes.
  • Implement initiatives that promote sustainability while ensuring the security of product design.
  • Support daily operations and engage in retrospectives to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design, integrate, and implement IT solutions, ensuring that technical solutions, procedures, and development models are current and compliant with standards.
  • Ensure consistency across IT Products.

Travel Requirements:

This position may require occasional travel for business purposes within Europe.

Your Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco telephony and unified communications technologies.
  • Cisco product certifications are advantageous.
  • Proficient understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Foundational knowledge in Cybersecurity, IT networking, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to drive change and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a plus.
