Your Role:

As a Taxation Intern at Wallbox HQ in Barcelona, you will be integral to our finance team, assisting in the adherence to tax regulations across various jurisdictions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and organizing the tax calendar to ensure timely compliance.
  • Preparing necessary tax documentation and responding to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Utilizing Excel to structure accounting data for tax purposes.
  • Supporting the preparation of tax obligations in Spain and other EU nations.
  • Assisting with additional tax compliance requirements.
  • Monitoring and managing tax obligations from authorities across our subsidiaries.
  • Innovating and enhancing internal tax processes through automation.
  • Engaging in continuous learning and adaptation within the tax domain.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Law or Business.
  • Currently pursuing a Master’s in Taxation (preferred).
  • Fundamental understanding of tax principles.
  • Interest in direct and indirect taxation.
  • Knowledge of Spanish tax law.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Tax accounting knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience with Netsuite ERP is a plus.
