Job Summary

Control Risks is seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our team as a Compliance Due Diligence Researcher. As a key member of our VANTAGE team, you will be responsible for conducting media and database research to uncover reputational and criminal issues, as well as making sense of complex corporate structures and identifying possible political and sanctions exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct media and database research using complex search criteria and following a strict methodology.
  • Analyse search results within the context of the project and the country.
  • Distil conclusions and identify indirect connections from research findings.
  • Draft reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience and proficiency in various research techniques, databases, networks, online registers, and archives, as well as general internet research.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education level.
  • Fluency in both English and Polish language (mandatory).
  • Fluency in an additional European language (preferred).
  • Demonstrated expertise in researching and writing in English.
  • Proven proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications or similar software.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Capable of summarising vast amounts of information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying complex topics.
