About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Operations Associate to become a vital member of our Finance team. In this role, you will ensure precision in all transactions related to the Accounts Payable function.

Your Responsibilities

As a Finance Operations Associate, your duties will include:

  • Facilitating Accounts Payable processes to guarantee timely and accurate payments.
  • Assessing, approving, and managing expenses using the Acubiz platform.
  • Maintaining user access and master data controls.
  • Overseeing the administration of corporate credit card usage.
  • Examining and processing supplier invoices via the Navidoc platform, adhering to the approval workflow.
  • Preparing accounting entries for registers, journals, and logs.
  • Conducting thorough research and providing detailed analyses of all transactions.
  • Regularly reviewing and supporting reconciliations of balance sheet and expense accounts.
  • Collaborating in the Financial Statements closing process for the Group.
  • Assisting with year-end audit preparations for external auditors.

Success Metrics

In one year, you will know you have succeeded if:

  • You have effectively managed the Accounts Payable responsibilities.
  • You have fostered successful collaboration with the Finance team and other stakeholders.
  • You have identified areas for improvement and executed necessary changes.

What We Are Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A background in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Audit.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • A collaborative spirit and a positive approach to ad-hoc projects.

Preferred Qualifications

We would be impressed if you also have:

  • A university degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in additional languages such as German, Spanish, French, Danish, or Swedish.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivots, formulas, and macros.
