Job Description

Job Title: IT Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced IT Teacher to join our team at International Schools Partnership Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, developing and implementing curriculum materials, and contributing to the growth and development of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Curriculum Development:
    • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to students following our curriculum.
    • Review lessons and resources regularly to ensure they provide maximum engagement and clear opportunities for pupils to develop key linguistic skills and processes.
    • Prepare and set tests, including a baseline assessment test at the beginning of the course.
  • Classroom Management and Student Support:
    • Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in their class, ensuring equality of opportunity for all students.
    • Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher's professional position.
    • Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, other staff, and external agencies in the best interests of pupils.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration:
    • Participate in any relevant meetings/professional development opportunities at the school, which relate to the learners, curriculum, or organization of the school and assemblies.
    • Work as a team member and identify opportunities for working with colleagues and sharing the development of effective practice with them.
    • Contribute to the selection and professional development of colleagues.
  • Professional Development and Accountability:
    • Be accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct.
    • Deploy support staff effectively as appropriate.
    • Communicate effectively with parents/carers with regard to pupils' achievements and well-being using school systems/processes as appropriate.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare:
    • Be responsible and accountable for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
    • Raise any concerns following school protocol/procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in all aspects of English language.
  • Dynamic and have an interactive approach.
  • Delivered lessons purely in the target language.
  • Multicultural experience.
