The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled DataBricks Engineer to join our team. As a DataBricks Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data streams, storage, and analytical workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement data architectures that meet business requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using DataBricks and other tools.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy data-driven solutions.
- Provide Level 3 and 4 technical support to internal users and ensure system uptime.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies and make recommendations for implementation.
- Experience in delivering architectural solutions in a pharmaceutical or life sciences domain.
- Experience with ETL tools like Talend or DataStage.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with MPP databases like AWS Redshift.
- Proficient in writing SQL and creating stored procedures.
- Ability to lead ad-hoc analyses and identify performance gaps.
