Frontend Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our Design System Core Team at Contentsquare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new components of our Design System, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and usability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement new components of the Design System, working closely with UX designers and other software engineers to ensure seamless integration.
- Implement tools to help Quality engineers validate new versions of the Design System, ensuring visual regression and compliance with accessibility standards.
- Write high-quality code and build out test automation, including unit and functional tests, to ensure the stability and reliability of our Design System.
- Write detailed documentation for new components, ensuring that our team and stakeholders have a clear understanding of their functionality and usage.
- Communicate effectively with feature teams to ensure that Design System components meet their needs, and act as a Design System advocate to promote best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with accessibility experts to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and guidelines.
- At least 5 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on implementing a library of components.
- Strong understanding of user experience principles and design systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, StencilJS, D3JS, and WebComponent Storybook.
- Experience with visual regression testing and accessibility standards.
