Role Objective:
The primary objective of this position is to align with the Business Plan and assist Commercial and Project teams in defining optimal value-added and value engineering solutions, from the initial request for quotations (RFQs) to the execution of awarded projects in mass production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate technical data for offers and ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, challenging stakeholders to develop the most effective value-engineering proposals across Product, Process, Logistics, Projects, Tooling, Industrial, Purchasing, and Commercial sectors.
- Calculate costs for offers and projects based on received and streamlined input data.
- Assist Commercial and Project Managers in comprehending key cost drivers, cost structures, and the impact of modifications on costs.
- Identify the most advantageous value-added strategies for Grupo Antolin and the OEMs.
- Support negotiations with OEMs.
- Contribute to the creation of Profitability Studies.
- Work with various stakeholders to standardize costs, enhance standardization accuracy, and promote the use of standardization.
Candidate Profile:
- A university degree in Engineering (a master's degree is required).
- Training in management control or industrial plant costing.
- Specialized financial training in P&L, Balance Sheets, FCE, and Budgeting.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel at an advanced level.
- A minimum of 3 years of industrial experience; automotive experience is preferred.
- Background as a product or process engineer.
- Proficient in Spanish and English.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a results-oriented mindset.
