As a Senior Desktop Engineer you will design, build, and maintain desktop applications for macOS and Windows environments. This role involves working across both system and application layers to deliver secure, high-performance experiences. Lea todos los detalles a continuación y presente su candidatura hoy mismo.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain desktop applications for macOS and Windows, including integrations and embedded web componentsImplement, debug, and optimize system-level code and UI features using Swift, Objective-C, and C# (with occasional C++)Build and maintain macOS components including system extensions, XPC, Endpoint Security, and Network ExtensionsDevelop Windows functionality using Win32 APIs, WPF, and modern .NET frameworksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, testable, and production-ready featuresWrite and maintain clear technical documentation and architectural designsStay current with updates in macOS, Windows, and related ecosystems, especially in areas related to security and performanceRequirementsFluent English is required4+ years of macOS development experience using Swift, Objective-C, Xamarin.Mac, or MAUIProven experience delivering complex macOS features to production3+ years of Windows application development using .NET, .NET Framework, WPF, or WinFormsStrong knowledge of UI frameworks such as React or Angular for hybrid desktop applicationsExperience debugging complex macOS architectures (system extensions, launch services, IPC)Familiarity with xsgfvud systems programming concepts, multithreading, and Win32 APIs (C++ experience is a plus)Understanding of secure coding principles and best practices for maintainable, testable codeBenefitsSalary Range: $6000-$7500 USD /monthPaid Time Off: UnlimitedSchedule: Flexible, 100% RemoteSeniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingLocation: Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain#J-18808-Ljbffr
