We are looking for aEnvíe su solicitud a continuación después de leer todos los detalles y la información de apoyo sobre esta oportunidad de trabajo.Chief Operating Officerin Barcelona who, serving on the direction committee, will be responsible for the following duties:Main responsibilities:Ensure compliance with quality, service, and profitability standards for projects in different business areas.Oversee the profitability of operational areas, ensuring a balance between cost efficiency and service excellence.Monitor operating budgets and critical KPIs to ensure the sustainable growth of the company.Analyze and redesign current operational flows to improve efficiency and profitability through automation and advanced software.Analyze improvements in company processes and propose improvements through digitization and the implementation of new tools.Lead strategic meetings and coordinate area managers to meet the objectives set by the company.Organize and lead internal meetings to achieve previously set objectives.Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences or related fields; MBA is a plus.Minimum 8 years of experience in senior operational leadership roles (COO, Operations Director or similar), preferably in pharma, biotech or consulting environments.Strong background in operations management, budget control and profitability optimization across multiple business areas.Solid knowledge of financial management, including P&L oversight, cost control and KPI monitoring.Proven experience in process optimization, automation and digital transformation, including implementation of advanced software tools.High level of spoken and written English (C1+)Strategic and hands-on leadership with experience working at executive committee level.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven mindset.Excellent communication abilities.Ability to lead, align and motivate multidisciplinary teams.Change-oriented, proactive and focused on continuous improvement and innovation.Why working at Asphalion?Permanent contract.Flexible working schedule - Friday until 15.30h.Homeoffice & Flexible Model(Barcelona Based) Wide variety of projects, new challenges and experiences.↗ Training and personal development program.English lessons.A professional, inclusive and high-performance work environment to develop your skills and grow your career.
