You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the design direction across multiple products within the web and mobile apps, supporting product designers, collaborating with product managers, and creating a positive environment for your team to deliver high quality design.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of designers through design collaboration, feedback, and directionCreate designs to develop product and feature directions, communicate an idea or provide additional supportCollaborate with multiple product managers who own different features within the Exchange to establish timelines, delivery, and prioritiesProvide guidance, coaching, and protection to your designers. Creating a positive design environment to foster their growthEstablish, maintain, and update an ideal design process for your teamShare your deep expertise and knowledge in design to train the designers around youRun and facilitate user research activities, including 1:1 user interviews, focus groups or usability testsWork with the executive team to understand and apply the big picture vision and directionPresent and communicate design direction, decisions, and rationale to other teamsActively use and trade on the exchange and call out design and product issues to the teamRequirements2+ years experience working at a top tier trading teamMust be a traderMust have extraordinary knowledge of design as a craft, and can contribute a deep skillset to the teamExtensive experience designing multiple B2C digital products/services for international audiencesA solid portfolio of work that contains examples of design for digital products and servicesDeep understanding xsgfvud of user-centered design and user experience principles and have a strong creative vision to plan design roadmaps with senior stakeholdersAbility to oversee and manage multiple projects and ship quality products at scaleExperience with developing and coaching a design teamAn experienced leader with a strong creative vision that understands business objectives, leadership and is skilled at executing ideas with the product design teamA portfolio must be provided to be consideredJob detailsSeniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology#J-18808-Ljbffr
