This may come in the form of leading discussions with client stakeholders, providing training, and/or formal and informal meetings with team members. This position is expected to be able to perform and lead development efforts, document specifications, and ensure quality standards are being maintained throughout the lifecycle of a project.The candidate must be able to provide innovative and effective solutions that meet our client's business needs, always be striving for improvement, and most importantly be a lover of technology and all things Power Platform.Essential FunctionsLead design and architecture sessions with clients and fellow consultants to gather and document project requirementsArchitect the system, integrations, security, and any related customizationsAdvise customers on best practices for Power Platform, development or integration processesWrite technical specifications for planned work and estimate effort requiredMock-up specifications for our overseas development team, facilitate the completion, testing, and deployment of development projectsLead development efforts that may involve multiple internal, client, and third-party resourcesProvide technical oversight across multiple projectsAssist with technical pre-sales effortsCreate proof of concepts to establish feasibility of designsMentor other developers and participate company initiativesKnowledgeable on the current state and future direction of the Power Platform and related technologiesParticipate in informal or formal design and architect sessions with fellow consultantsImplement related customizations and reports to model the client's organizational processes as directed based on the system architectureDeliver internal sessions on best practices and new functionality as well as featuresRequired Skills and ExperienceFamiliar with Azure DevOps or other similar enterprise planning and delivery toolsAbility to write maintainable & testable codeSkilled in creating & consuming web servicesExperience with common Power Platform data sources such as Dataverse and SharePoint listsExperience with Azure Integration Services such as Logic Apps and Azure FunctionsSkilled in Power Platform code syntax and language requirements, PowerFX, API, rest service integrations, creation of custom connectorsIn-depth knowledge of integrating Power Platform with other systemsStrong understanding of the Power Platform solution deployment modelKnowledge of software testing and QA practicesAt least 2 end-to-end full life cycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or the Power PlatformAt least 2 end-to-end full life cycle implementations using Power Pages, with specific emphasis on understanding of associated security, authentication, responsive rendering, Azure Front Door for caching and web firewall capabilities and integration with other Power Platform componentsAbility to balance short-term demands while maintaining the long-term vision needed to guide a customer through the implementation processAbility to work with junior team members both in a project and practice contextBe comfortable participating and contributing in pre-sales engagementsKnowledge and experience with developing Model-driven and Canvas apps as well as an understanding on the difference between themFamiliarity and understanding of Power Platform licensing structure, plans and the costs associatedDesired Skills and ExpertiseExperience using Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud computing platformsStrong oral and written communication skills.
