You will be part of a diverse engineering team, participating in the full engineering life cycle. This includes designing, developing, optimizing, and deploying new software engineering solutions and infrastructure for the production scale of the world’s largest companies.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with general consulting teams to identify software solutions to client business problems, and within a cross functional product team to develop and deploy production quality code, to prioritize and execute those solutionsServe as a technical lead in designing, developing, and documenting full stack application software; evaluating third-party software products for integration as neededLead front-end development including unit and integration frameworks, package management, and CSS preprocessorBuild reusable libraries and software components to accelerate the delivery of client solutionsParticipate in the full software development life cycle including architecture design, writing documentation and unit/integration tests, identifying issues and resolution, writing clean code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring other EngineersWork closely with web designers and developers to create modern UI/UX web applicationsChampion best demonstrated practices in software engineering, and share learnings with team members in AIS about theoretical and technical developments in software engineeringLead industry-leading innovations that translate into great impact for our clients in case workInfluence, educate and directly support the software engineering capabilities of our clientsStay current with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, data analysis, and software engineering, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the capabilities of the software platformAbout youEducation & ExperienceMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field5 years minimum experience3+ years at Senior or Staff level, or equivalentC1 or C2 proficiency in English and SpanishTechnical Skills and Knowledge:Experience (4+ years) with designing and building full-stack applicationsExperience (3+ years) with web application development and technologies such as React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML and CSSExperience with server-side development with frameworks and technologies such as FastAPI, Node. xsgfvud js, Flask, Django, .NET Core or Java Spring BootExperience building applications with Cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)Experience with micro-service API development (RESTful, GraphQL, gRPC)Experience working with container technologies such as Docker or KubernetesExperience in engineering best practices for code quality, security, observability, logging, monitoring, and alertingExperience with data architecture, database schema design, database scalability and SQLExperience with SQL or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server)Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, automated testing, object-oriented programming, performance complexity, and implications of computer architecture on software performanceKnowledge of or experience working according to agile principlesInterpersonal Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain and discuss technicalities of solutions, algorithms and techniques with colleagues and clients from other disciplinesCuriosity, proactivity and critical thinkingAbility to collaborate with people at all levels and with multi-office/region teamsOther Experience:Relevant professional hands-on experience in web development, programming languages, version control, software design patterns, infrastructure and deployment, integration and unit testing implementationDetailsSeniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: Business Consulting and ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bain & Company by 2x.Get notified about new Full Stack Engineer jobs in Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain.#J-18808-Ljbffr
