About the role This role has been introduced in the context of increased importance of procurement role within End-to-End sourcing process for Raw materials and our way of collaboration with our suppliers. This professional will spearhead raw material strategic sourcing efforts, driving seamless collaboration with preferred partners to have the right cost base and to accelerate product development. The responsibilities will encompass strategic planning of Bill of Materials for raw materials, supplier sourcing, negotiation, tendering, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a robust and agile supply chain that meets the evolving needs of our stakeholders, business and regulatory environment. Additionally, Senior Category buyer Raw materials will lead the entire purchase to pay process covering not only the strategic phase but also purchase order management. The Lead plays a critical role in developing strategic partnerships with suppliers, driving innovation, and fostering collaboration to achieve mutual business objectives. Key responsibilities Be the global expert in the spend categories within scope of responsibility related to Raw materials Strategy definition: Category management definition and implementation. Data analysis, market analysis, spend analysis and budget monitoring. Stay up to date on market trends and new regulations in the pharmaceutical industry and ensure selected suppliers comply with required quality standards and current regulations Search, analyse, evaluate, and select suppliers for new R&D projects. Collaboration with preferred partners to accelerate product development, to increase the speed to market and to have the right cost base and manufacturability when launches are actualized and commercial. xsgfvud Participate in the planning and execution of purchasing strategies to optimize costs. Identify and track savings opportunities in its categories scope Management the full sourcing process; RFQs, negotiation, supplier award, homologation and supplier evaluation process and agreements management Order Management: purchase orders creation, orders delivery tracking, and manage any required Accounting and Quality documentation related to procurement activities Master Data: Maintain and ensure accuracy of Procurement Master Data and replenishment parameters in SAP Organizational: participation in continuous improvement initiatives and projects, regular meeting attendance and other general administrative duties to support Procurement-Purchasing functions Assist key stakeholders in the day-to-day activities needed to successfully execute About you Degree in Administration, Finance, Business, Engineering or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing within R&D or Manufacturing in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or chemistry and in international environment Strong knowledge of SAP MM Advance level in Excel Fluency in English (C1) written and spoken is a must Travel up to 30% (International and Local) Skills and technical knowledge you need to succeed: Strong understanding of raw materials’ procurement value chain and industry trends : specifically unripe fruits and vegetables, including harvest phases, costs structure and market conditions would be desirable Good knowledge of R&D Phases, Launch enablement and Life Cycle Management Strong negotiation skills, goal orientation, and proactive action Assertive, high-level communicator, good organizational skills, excellent presentation skills, team player with excellent interpersonal sensitivity Experienced and confident in managing complex and undefined business situations Influential management, ability to convince and persuade others regarding appropriate solutions Benefits Package: Hybrid work model (50%) with flexible working hours Meal vouchers worth over €1,700 per year Disability and life insurance coverage for you and your family Subsidized Wellhub (Gympass) membership Flexible compensation options, including Adelas health insurance, childcare vouchers, transportation vouchers, and training support HTBA Learning platform: access online training anytime, anywhere Additional days off in lieu, on top of your vacation days Excellent office location in La Illa Shopping Center, with subsidized on-site parking Access to the Corporate Benefits discount portal
