We are looking for a researcher in state-of-the-art LLM technologies for applications across Alexa, AWS, and other Amazon businesses. In Amazon's AGI Information team, you can make your mark by improving information-driven experience of Amazon customers worldwideKey job responsibilities- Use Python and various internal and open source libraries to develop and/or improve LLMs for business applications- Collaborate with scientists and Engineers and pave the way towards bringing your solution into production systems. Participate in cross team projects and ensure technical blockers are resolved.- Communicate and document your research by writing and sharing internal documents with your team- Are enrolled in or have completed a PhD in computer science, machine learning, engineering, or related fields- Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language- Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing- Experience with natural language processing and/or processing of multi-modal data (e.g. images)- Experience using Unix/Linux- Experience in professional software development- Experience with training and evaluating LLMsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
