If you want to know more about us go to GMV website.WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?GMV is looking for a highly motivated SPACE ENGINEER, to coordinate an operations team in charge of the provision and evolution of Collision Avoidance (CA) servicesfrom the Spanish Space Surveillance and Tracking Operations Centre (S3TOC).GMV is a leading company in the space sector, in particular, in Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management (STM). GMV engineers use cutting-edge technologies to develop the solutions of the future.Asoperations coordinator in the Spanish Space Surveillance and Tracking Operations Centre (S3TOC) , you will co-lead a team of S3TOC analysts from a consortium of companies performing the routine operations of the system, with the final goal to provide CA services to satellite owner/operators around the world. The functions of this job are:Lead the team of S3TOC operations analysts, organizing Daily Operations Meeting (DOM), Weekend Operations Meeting (WEM) and Internal MeetingsOversee the daily activities by setting objectives and priorities, and to ensure swift decision-makingEUSST Task Force campaigns coordinationManagement the technical interface between the S3TOC and its users, EUSST entities, and other external stakeholders involved in operationsPlanning of S3TOC operational shiftsMonitoring and management of the external interactions and data exchanges involving the S3TOCSupport the operations team in identifying tactical hardware and software maintenance tasksContribute to the safe deployment, acceptance, and commissioning of new system and subsystem releasesMonitors and report KPIs related to service provision to the ClientWHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?We are looking forMSc in Aerospace Engineering with background in orbital mechanics or other BSc/MSc related to Space with proven experience in Spacecraft operations.We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:Spacecraft operations backgroundAdvanced MS Office requiredWHAT DO WE OFFER?Hybrid working modeland8 weeksper year ofteleworking outsideyour usualgeographical area.Flexiblestart and finishtimes , and intensive working hours Fridays and in summer.Personalized career plandevelopment, training andlanguage learningsupport.National and internationalmobility .
