In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems integration in our cutting-edge data centre projects. As part of the strategic partnership between CBRE and Turner & Townsend, this role will be based within CBRE Project Management S.A.Lead and coordinate MEP design and construction activities for data centre projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirementsDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project deliveryCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to resolve technical issues and optimise MEP system performanceConduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality control, and compliance with safety standardsAnalyse and mitigate project risks, implementing proactive solutions to potential challengesEnsure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards for data centre constructionOversee the commissioning and testing of MEP systems, guaranteeing optimal performance and energy efficiencyPrepare and present detailed project reports, including progress updates and financial forecasts, to senior management and stakeholdersImplement and maintain best practices for sustainable and energy-efficient data centre design and constructionQualificationsDegree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years of experience in MEP project management, focusing on data centre constructionExtensive knowledge of MEP systems, data centre infrastructure, energy efficiency strategies, and high-voltage electrical substationsProficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera), AutoCAD, and Building Information Modeling (BIM)Strong understanding of Spanish building codes and regulations related to data centre constructionExcellent budget management, risk assessment, and problem-solving skillsExceptional leadership and communication skills, with ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholdersFluency in English and SpanishAdditional InformationOur people share our Purpose and Values.
