To take this revolution to the next level, we’re looking for a Head of Product & Tech who can build, scale, and lead the entire product + technology ecosystem that will power the future of homeownership in Europe. If you’re ambitious, product-obsessed, and want to build something millions will use to escape the “rent trap”, let’s talk.   ROLE OBJECTIVE As Head of Product & Tech, you will define and execute Libeen’s entire technology and product strategy. You will build and scale our engineering + product teams, craft an exceptional end-to-end user experience, and ensure SmartHousing becomes a product people trust, love, and rely on.You will work directly with the founders and play a key role in scaling Libeen across Spain and Europe. RESPONSIBILITIES Product Leadership Own the full product lifecycle: research → strategy → roadmap → execution Define a clear product vision and align it with business goals and customer needs. Create a user-friendly, intuitive, lovable product experience Make SmartHousing feel premium, easy and transparent end-to-end Transform user insights and usage data into product decisions Define success metrics and drive a data-informed product process (funnels, KPIs, experimentation). Build a frictionless journey from renting → saving → buying Build and lead Product, Design and Data to ship high-impact features, fast Use AI to automate processes and back-officee tasks, improve decisioning, and enhance UX Balance speed with product excellence (“build fast, learn smart”) Tech & Engineering Leadership Build, lead and mentor Libeen’s engineering team from zero → scale Own the full technical vision, architecture and long-term roadmap Design modern, scalable, AI-ready architecture (event-driven, microservices, modular) Implement engineering best practices for speed, security, performance & reliability Oversee DevOps, CI/CD, observability, cloud infrastructure & platform automation – guiding, not executing. Attract, hire and retain top-tier engineering talent Ensure the platform scales as we reach thousands of users and transactions You are not expected to code or architect directly, but you should be able to:Challenge technical proposals.Ask the right questions.Prioritize and evaluate trade-offs.Provide strategic direction to senior engineers and tech leads.Cross-Functional Leadership Align product & tech strategy with SmartHousing 2030 and company OKRs Work hand-in-hand with Operations, Finance, Marketing & Sales Translate complex technical concepts into simple business language Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement Drive prioritization, delivery and execution across the company REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Professional Experience 5+ years in Product leadership roles (Head of Product, PM Lead, CPO track) with strong technical background, or 5+ years in senior technical roles (CTO, Tech Lead or similar) with proven product ownership. Experience in startups or scale-ups (proptech/fintech a plus) Proven ability to build and scale product + engineering teams Strong product discovery mindset and a track record of defining successful roadmaps. You should understand but not necessarily execute in: Frontend: React, Typescript Backend: Node. xsgfvud js, microservices, APIs Databases: SQL, NoSQL, event stores Cloud: AWS / GCP, Kubernetes, Docker Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring and reliability Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments Product & Tech Skills Ability to define product vision & turn it into a winning roadmap Skilled in UX, user research, usability & product iteration Data-informed decision-making (analytics, experimentation, funnels) Experience building customer-facing digital products Strong product intuition + excellent engineering judgment Ability to scale products from MVP → thousands of users.Soft Skills Leadership, empathy communication and storytelling skills High ownership and a "founder mindset" Bias to action, not endless planning Strategic vision + hands-on execution Ability to inspire and drive teams forward Languages Fluent Spanish Fluent English NICE TO HAVE • Experience using AI/ML in products • Data engineering / big data exposure • TDD, DDD, Clean Architecture • Experience scaling platforms from thousands → millions • Thought leadership in product or techrollout
