If you are seeking an opportunity to propel your career and challenge your creativity, we want to meet youRole PurposeThe Cybersecurity Lead Engineer is primarily responsible for the technical execution & delivery of a range of lifecycle Cybersecurity solutions and services for our external customers.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform site visits to maintain security solutions, evaluate existing and new technologies, provide security training, and consult on security matters when required.Represent Schneider Electric as a technical consultant with the proficiency to identify and discuss new Cybersecurity opportunities with customers and Account Managers.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in a computer related field, plus one of the following certifications:Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)Cloud Security Certification (CCSP)Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)Global Industrial Control System Security Professional (SANS‑GICSP)Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI)ISA99 or IC32‑34 related OT certificationPreferred ExperienceExperience working within an OT Industrial Control Systems which may include one or more of the following technologies: DCS, SCADA, PLCs, HMI, Data Historians including OSI PI, EDNA, WonderwareAn understanding of Cybersecurity Frameworks (e.g. NIST, NCSC, ISO 27001, COBIT) and IC protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, PROFINET, PROFIBUS)Experience performing the installation and/or management of Intrusion detection systems (IDS) and intrusion prevention systems (IPS)Experience performing the installation and/or management of network-based firewall products (Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Sophos, SonicWall, etc.)Experience implementing and managing virtual environments including performing network troubleshooting (VMware, Microsoft Hypervisor)Experience with advanced Windows administration (e.g., AD, DNS, DHCP, RAS, WSUS, GPOs)Experience in implementing host‑based security technologies including endpoint protection technologies (e.g., Antivirus, Data Leakage Prevention, Host IPS, Whitelisting, XDR, EDR, NDR)Experience in implementing backup, NAS, SAN and restoration technologies (e.g., Symantec, VERITAS, ACRONIS, VEEAM)Experience developing and delivering end‑user trainingExperience developing, evaluating, and implementing Security Policy and ProceduresCompetenciesExcellent consultancy and communication skills to identify, prioritise and negotiate customer needs, anticipate issues, trends and opportunities for improvement, present compelling recommendations, and follow through to conclusion.Analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources.Effective time management, stakeholder management and organisational skills.Capability to take full responsibility for executing tasks, sometimes at remote locations.Proficient technical writing skills to communicate information effectively to customers, project managers and other cybersecurity staff.Fluent English (fluency in another language also an advantage).Primary Location: Barcelona, Spain | Lisbon, PortugalWhat will you get?Flexible schedule to adjust work hours to your personal needs.Hybrid work plan for working from home.Holy Pack – purchase additional vacation days.Floating Holidays – exchange holidays for other days.
