TheCivil and Structural Teamin the Energy unit works across power generation and high‑voltage transmission projects worldwide.About the RoleThe Principal Structural Engineer will design, lead, and coordinate structural solutions for power plants, HV substations, HVDC interconnectors, and cable projects. The role spans multiple locations: Madrid, Seville, Barcelona, Bulgaria, and Serbia, offering opportunities for career progression.Key ResponsibilitiesLead front‑end engineering design (FEED) for civil and structural components.Prepare detailed design drawings for planning applications and tender packages.Conduct structural analysis using tools such as SAP2000, ETABS, and BIM.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, electrical, and mechanical engineers) to integrate structural solutions.Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality, ensuring deliverables meet client and regulatory standards.Assess existing structures for safety and suitability for reuse.Contribute to proposal writing and cost estimation.Requirements & SkillsAdvanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and design codes (Eurocodes, ASCE).Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, etc.) and BIM.Experience with FEED and project leadership in complex infrastructure projects.Strong communication skills and ability to lead junior engineers.Detail‑oriented with a commitment to safety and quality.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Professional Engineer (PE) licence is advantageous.BenefitsCompetitive annual leave.Pension scheme.Life insurance and private medical insurance.Annual professional institute subscription.Flexible working arrangements and agile workplace.Annual bonus scheme and wellbeing support.Additional InformationLocation: Madrid, Seville, Barcelona, Bulgaria (Sofia), Serbia (Belgrade).Contract Type: Permanent.Work Pattern: Full time.Job Ref: 9616.Recruiter Contact: Abhijeet Barpanda. xsgfvud E‑EO statement: The company supports equal opportunity and a diverse workforce.#J-18808-Ljbffr
