We’relooking for a Creative Director to elevate the creative direction of our most impactful games and shape the long-term future of our portfolio.As Creative Director, you’ll be the voice of the player, the architect of product vision, and akey partner to product leadership. You’ll transform player insights into creative strategies,define the creative direction of key titles, and guide teams toward delivering memorable, engaging experiences.This role is a core part of the Catalog Leadership Team and reports directly to the VP Catalog. You will lead a multidisciplinary creative group of 10 across Game Design, Level Design, UI/UX Design, and Game Art.**Key Responsibilities****Creative Leadership & Vision**Define, own, and communicate the creative vision for Catalog’s most prominent titles.Ensure alignment of creative direction across design, production, and tech throughoutdevelopment.Champion creative excellence and drive innovation across the portfolio.Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers and artists.Foster a culture of collaboration, craftsmanship, curiosity, and continuous improvement.Grow creative capabilities through coaching, clear direction, and constructive feedback.**Product & Player Insight**Evaluate game performance, player feedback, and industry trends to inform creativedecisions.Lead discovery efforts to identify player needs, challenges, and opportunities.Translate insights into actionable creative strategies that enhance player experience andperformance.**Cross-Functional Partnership**Work closely with Product, Production, and Tech leads to translate vision into practicalplans.Ensure strong alignment between creative direction, product strategy, and technicalfeasibility.Elevate game quality by driving clarity, documentation, and consistency in creativeprocesses.**Process & Quality**Develop and maintain design processes, methodologies, and standards across teams.Ensure all creative work meets high-quality expectations and contributes to cohesive,player-led game experiences.**Skills to Create Thrills**Proven experience in a senior creative leadership role in games, entertainment, or digitalproduct development.Deep understanding of game design principles, player psychology, and engagement loops.Strong storytelling and communication skills; able to craft and articulate a compellingvision.Skilled at synthesizing qualitative and quantitative player insights into creative decisions.Demonstrated success working with and guiding cross-functional teams from concept toexecution.Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across levels.Strong knowledge of creative disciplines including Game Design, Level Design, UX/UI, Art,and Player Research.Experienced and confident leader who builds, motivates, and develops high-performingcreative teams.Detail-oriented, with strong documentation and process-management capabilities.Solid understanding of the gaming market and evolving player expectations.**Bonus Points**Experience working on live games, F2P mechanics, and/or casual mobile titles.Familiarity with agile development and iterative design practices.Background in UX/UI, game design, narrative, or interactive media**About King**With a mission of *Making the World Playful*, King is a leading interactive entertainment company with more than 20 years of history of delivering some of the world’s most iconic games in the mobile gaming industry, including the world-famous Candy Crush franchise, as well as other mobile game hits such as *Farm Heroes Sag*a.
