Our client is seeking an experienced OpenText VIM Consultant to support an SAP finance transformation program in Madrid. This role focuses on end-to-end design, configuration, and optimization of OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) across AP processes, working closely with both local Spanish finance teams and global stakeholders. ¿Le gusta esta oportunidad? Key Responsibilities Lead configuration and functional support for OpenText VIM , including OCR, approval workflow, validation rules, and exception handling. Own AP invoice automation process design in collaboration with business process owners. Configure and enhance VIM components such as Document Processing , ICC / Business Center , and VIM Workflow. Integrate VIM with SAP ECC/S4 , Fiori , Archive Center , and external AP or scanning tools. Define and execute test plans for unit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression. Troubleshoot complex cross-functional issues spanning SAP, AP, Workflow, and OCR. Deliver documentation, process training, and handover to internal IT and finance teams. Work with nearshore and offshore teams while acting as the key VIM expert onsite. Essential Skills & Experience 5+ years working with OpenText VIM in SAP environments. Strong expertise in: VIM configuration and workflow ICC / Business Center or equivalent OCR tools Exception and approval processes AP, MM, FI integration within SAP Solid hands-on experience in S/4HANA or current ECC environments. Fluent in English, with Spanish preferred for local stakeholder interaction. Ability to work independently with finance, AP, and IT teams onsite in Madrid. Nice-to-Have Experience with OpenText xECM , Archive Center, or Documentum. Exposure to Shared Services or global AP transformation programs. xsgfvud Knowledge of Spanish AP regulatory requirements. Contract Details Location: Hybrid Madrid (remote possible with occasional onsite) Hours: Full-time allocation Rate: Competitive daily rate Setup: Freelance / Autónomo or through a registered Spanish entity
