Each operating company benefits from the Transform centralised model, driving efficiencies, automation, and economies of scale.Purpose of the roleThe Supplier Chain Sustainability Coordinator is responsible for coordinating governance frameworks, policies, and board activities across IAG's supplier chain sustainability function. This role ensures effective governance structures are maintained, tracks key initiatives and actions, and supports the Head of Supplier Chain Sustainability in driving organizational compliance and performance across supplier relationships.Governance & Policy CoordinationMaintain and update supplier chain sustainability policies and governance frameworks.Ensure policy compliance across supplier management activities and internal stakeholders.Support the development and implementation of governance standards aligned with IAG's sustainability objectives.Board Management & CoordinationOrganize and coordinate governance boards, steering committees, and working groups related to supplier sustainability.Prepare board materials, agendas, and documentation to support effective decision-making.Manage meeting logistics, attendance tracking, and distribution of governance materials.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across board participants and stakeholders.Action & Initiative TrackingTrack and monitor actions, decisions, and deliverables from governance boards and key initiatives.Maintain comprehensive logs of commitments, deadlines, and owner accountability.Provide regular status updates on initiative progress to leadership and stakeholders.Escalate risks, delays, or blockers requiring senior leadership intervention.Stakeholder CoordinationCoordinate with internal teams across procurement, IAG, and OpCo sustainability functions.Support communication and alignment between supplier chain sustainability and broader organizational governance structures.Facilitate information sharing and collaboration across business units and geographies.Reporting & DocumentationMaintain accurate records of governance activities, policy updates, and board decisions.Support preparation of management reports on governance effectiveness and initiative progress.Ensure documentation standards and audit trails meet organizational and regulatory requirements.Operating Company CollaborationPartner closely with Operating Companies to implement supplier sustainability programmes within their procurement and operational contexts.Work with Procurement and OpCo sustainability teams to embed central sustainability requirements into local buying decisions and supplier relationships.Provide guidance, tools, and support to enable OpCos to effectively manage supplier sustainability performance in their respective markets.Establish governance frameworks that balance central programme direction with OpCo operational autonomy and accountability.Compliance & Regulatory OversightEnsure the control framework addresses relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.Coordinate with internal audit, external auditors, and regulatory bodies during examinations and assessments.Monitor the evolving regulatory landscape and assess impact on control requirements.Support audit responses and lead remediation efforts for internal and external findings.Drive a culture of control awareness and compliance throughout the organization.Stakeholder Engagement & ReportingCollaborate with Group Procurement, IAG, finance, and OpCo teams to embed sustainability into supplier selection and management processes.Build and maintain strong relationships with OpCo leadership to ensure alignment and buy-in for supplier sustainability initiatives.Represent IAG in industry forums, standard-setting bodies, and multi-stakeholder initiatives related to supply chain sustainability.Prepare comprehensive reporting on supplier sustainability performance for internal leadership and external disclosure requirements.Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice exchange across Operating Companies.Build strong relationships with suppliers to drive collaborative sustainability improvements.Your skills, experience and qualificationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, or related field.Project coordination or governance certification preferred.Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (ISO 14001, GRI, or equivalent) beneficial.Understanding of supply chain management principles.Skills:Strategic Leadership & VisionAbility to develop long-term sustainability strategies aligned with corporate net-zero sourcing principlesExperience with social audit methodologies and remediation processesKnowledge of ESG technology platforms and data management systemsAbility to leverage data analytics for insights and decision supportRegulatory & Legal AcumenComprehensive understanding of evolving ESG regulatory landscape in UK and EuropeAbility to translate regulatory requirements into practical implementation of proven experience in governance coordination, policy administration, or project management support.Experience coordinating boards, committees, or steering groups in a corporate environment.Strong understanding of action tracking, initiative management, and stakeholder coordination.Familiarity with supplier chain or procurement governance preferred.Experience working in multinational organizations beneficial.Proficiency in collaboration tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office suite.Deep knowledge of UK and European ESG legislation including CSRD, Modern Slavery Act, EU Taxonomy, and emerging supply chain due diligence requirements.Experience working across multiple Operating Companies or business units in decentralised procurement environments.Proven ability to influence and drive change without direct authority over buying decisions.Experience working with aviation, transport, or complex multinational supply chains preferred.Demonstrated success in stakeholder management at senior leadership and C-suite level across multiple entities.Experience managing teams and driving organisational change across multiple geographies.What we offerThe chance
