You will apply problem‑solving skills across multiple markets, customers, and equipment, travelling to different facilities, diagnosing equipment issues. You will upgrade technologies to satisfy environmental initiatives and solve combustion problems predominately for refining and petrochemical end users with the support of a global team.Key responsibilitiesCombustion Equipment InsightAssist in diagnosing ALL fired equipment for:Mechanical integrityOperational suitabilityEstimated remaining useful lifeDiagnose failures and malfunctionsEngineer technical and operational solutionsMaintenance insight:Suggest maintenance scope for repairsReview completed maintenance for suitabilityReview spare parts inventory and sparing levelsHeater and furnace preliminary surveysPre-turnaround scope generation and reportingCommissioning support:Review equipment received at siteReview installed equipment for proper alignmentAssist with commissioning and startupZeeco system navigationIntegrate necessary Zeeco SMEs with site for consultationDevelop scope of inquiry for complete solutionsIntegrate and expedite Zeeco applications and projecting teamsCoordinate training and educational opportunitiesOther responsibilities:Contact and visit existing as well as new clients. Ensure Zeeco is established in customer’s system and included on their AML (Approved Manufacturers List) for all of Zeeco’s products.Discover business opportunities and work to generate inquiries.Identify decision makers plus influencers and build trust / long term relationships with them.Be available to make site visits to trouble shoot equipment and provide technical assistance.Visit customer’s plants to conduct site surveys.Obtain market intelligence, provide feedback on open quotes, assist with customer clarifications, and win orders.Liaising with other Zeeco sales personnel, applications engineers, project engineers, purchasing, logistics, manufacturing teams etc, and assist when required.Assist with commissioning, start‑up, and troubleshooting of combustion equipment at customer facilities.Increase the productivity of Zeeco’s representatives / agents where present or seek out potential partners that could enhance our site presence.Be prepared to support activity in other territories as and when needed.Give technical and training presentations to customers.Provide constructive feedback to Zeeco’s product groups for continuous improvement.Identify end‑user facility maintenance turnaround dates and offer Zeeco products and services to support the turnarounds.Working within Zeeco HSE and Quality systems.Knowledge & Experience requiredA good technical or engineering qualification.Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.Demonstrated and proven experience of combustion equipment essential.Mechanical or process engineering background, ideally with some practical commissioning or site experience.Confident in ability to build relationships.Flexible, hard‑working, team player.Be a proactive self‑starter with the ability to work on own initiative.Able to work under pressure.Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve thinking laterally.Willing to and go the extra mile.Willing to travel across the UK regularly with occasional International extended trips if required.Ability to communicate at all levels with good verbal and written skills.Good presentation skills.
