Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and C Build and optimize microservices-based architectures, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and security Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) supporting mission-critical systems Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker Debug, profile, and harden existing systems to ensure maximum stability Collaborate closely with Frontend, DevOps, Research, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions Participate in system design discussions and propose architectural improvements Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices Own the full development lifecycle—from requirements to deployment and monitoring What We’re Looking For5+ years of experience building scalable backend systems Advanced proficiency in Python as a core backend language Solid hands-on experience with C and low-level/system concepts Strong understanding of distributed systems and system architecture Experience with Docker and containerized environments Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases Good knowledge of Linux-based systems Autonomous mindset, strong ownership, and high engineering standards Excellent communication skills in English Availability to work on-site in Barcelona Nice to have: Experience with DevOps practices or on-premise infrastructure What’s in it for you?Top salary package aligned with your seniority Flexibility above this range for highly qualified candidates. xsgfvud Private health insurance Flexible compensation plan (fully covered meal vouchers) Flexible working hours Beautiful Barcelona office in Poblenou (fully on-site due to security requirements) Fully stocked kitchen (coffee, organic fruit, snacks, drinks ) Team-building activities and continuous learning opportunities If you’re looking for real impact, serious engineering challenges, and a cybersecurity product that protects what truly matters,this is your move.
