Join our client and help design, train, and optimize cutting‑edge deep learning models, including LLMs and computer vision architectures.In this role, you will apply advanced model compression techniques such as pruning, distillation, quantization, and low‑rank factorization to make large‑scale AI models faster, smaller, and more efficient. These are fixed‑term contracts, initially until June 2026. You will be required onsite in Zaragoza 3 days per week and will receive a base salary, plus bonus and retention bonus (and relocation assistance if required).What you’ll do:Lead end‑to‑end model training, from dataset design to architecture and evaluationApply state‑of‑the‑art model compression strategies across GPU, CPU, and edge devicesFine‑tune and adapt LLMs for domain‑specific tasksBuild scalable, reproducible ML pipelines and optimize models for deploymentConduct experiments, ablations, and error analysis to improve model performanceWhat we’re looking for:Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or related field3+ years hands‑on experience training deep learning models from scratchProficiency with Python, PyTorch, and modern ML stacks (HuggingFace Transformers, Lightning, DeepSpeed, Accelerate, or NeMo)Experience with CV or LLM model development and large‑scale distributed trainingWork on pioneering AI and quantum technologiesShape the future of LLMs and computer vision modelsCollaborate with a highly skilled, cross‑functional teamHybrid work model with flexibility across Barcelona, Madrid, or ZaragozaIn accordance with local employment laws, applicants must have current, valid authorisation to work in Spain at the time of application.
