The ideal candidate enjoys working with abig variety of frameworks and APIsacrossmultiple operating systems and devices(desktops, embedded, mobile, cloud).Key Objectives & ResponsibilitiesCommit tostaying up-to-date with multimedia technologyto design, develop, and implement innovative solutions.Design and implement new featuresin existing products, such as Multimedia SDKs.Work primarily in themultimedia stack built on the Open Source GStreamer framework .Maintain and update video/audio codecsand other multimedia elements.Handletactical managementtasks like developing project plans and timelines.Conductthorough testing and quality assurance , and identify/resolvetechnical issues, bugs, and errors .Contribute tobuild systemsthat package products and createdetailed technical documentation .Full Remote contractonly for outside Barcelona province.Flexible working hours and flexible entry (8h to 10h).25 working day holidays and shorter/intensive Fridays .30 days per year to work abroad with telecommuting.Personal development policy (2-day off, budget for conferences/courses) and internal hackathons.Private medical insurance and Phantom Share Options .RequirementsEssential Qualifications4+ years of experiencein a similar role.Degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related field .Hard SkillsStrong knowledge ofC, C++, and Python(Rust is a plus).Experience withopen source multimedia frameworks (GStreamer, FFmpeg) .Ability to writecross-platform code(Linux/Windows/OS X).Knowledge ofvideo/audio codecs and muxers .Experience withLow latency and adaptive streaming protocols(DASH, HLS, WebRTC). xsgfvud Proficiency in debugging, testing, and various build systems ( autotools, meson, Visual Studio, XCode, CMake ).Soft SkillsAutonomousand experienced working inOpen Source projects .Strong problem-solving and communication skills .#J-18808-LjbffrHay opciones de teletrabajo/trabajo desde casa disponibles para este puesto.
