Leap29 is hiring on behalf of a leading IPP delivering fully integrated renewable solutions across Europe, including wind, solar, BESS, and green hydrogen. We are currently seeking a passionate individual to join a growing team in Madrid and play a key role in scaling up their Iberia portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Develop utility-scale wind, green hydrogen and solar PV projects, from site identification to commissioning Design smart, flexible systems (standalone and hybrid) Assess grid capacity and manage interconnection processes Navigate permitting and regulations with local authorities Engage with grid operators, engineers, and key energy stakeholders Shape regional storage strategy in a fast-growing market Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, legal, financial) to ensure successful project execution Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments to guide strategic decisions Ensure compliance with HSE standards Key Requirements: ✔️ 8+ years in renewables, with green hydrogen project experience in the Iberia region ✔️ Strong knowledge of Spain and Portugal’s electrical transmission and distribution systems, and hydrogen infrastructure ✔️ Understanding of the Iberia regulatory environment for hydrogen, including permitting, licensing, and compliance ✔️ Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills ✔️ Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus, but not essential) Ready for your next challenge?
