Are you motivated to take ownership and contribute to building high-performing frontend solutions in a banking environment?We are looking for a Performance Engineer with focus on performance testing and optimization who combines technical expertise with strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving. In this role, you will:Performance Testing & OptimizationRegularly conduct performance, load, and stress tests on web applications to ensure compliance with defined SLAs.Analyze frontend performance using modern tools (e.g., Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Dynatrace) and browser developer tools.Identify performance bottlenecks across frontend, APIs, and infrastructure, and recommend improvements.Collaboration & Quality AssuranceWork closely with developers, testers, architects, and business stakeholders to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.Document test strategies, scenarios, and results with clear reporting tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Contribute to building a performance-first culture by coaching teams and embedding testing early in the development lifecycle.Monitoring & Incident ManagementMonitor production environments using real-user monitoring (RUM) and synthetic testing solutions.Proactively identify risks and potential degradations in application performance.Support troubleshooting of performance-related incidents across multiple system layers.YOUR PROFILETo be successful in this role, you should have:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in performance testing, ideally in banking or financial services.Performance Engineering ExpertiseStrong knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, k6).Experience with frontend monitoring frameworks and developer tools.Proficiency in scripting and test automation (JavaScript, Python, or similar).Familiarity with CI/CD environments (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).Solid understanding of frontend-oriented development, includingWeb technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular).Performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, caching, CDN, minification).Backend/API dependencies and their impact on frontend performance.Cloud and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).Nice-to-HaveExperience in the banking sector or with secure, regulated environments.Exposure to synthetic monitoring and observability solutions (New Relic, AppDynamics, Elastic APM).Knowledge of accessibility, security, and compliance standards in frontend applications.Communication & Stakeholder ManagementExcellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to interact confidently with both technical and business teams.Strong problem-solving mindset, capable of working independently and collaboratively in an international setup.About LGT Digital FactoryLGT Digital Factory was initiated as a project in 2022 to drive the digital transformation of LGT Private Bank by designing and managing innovative digital tools and seamless user experiences.
