By combining global reach with deep local market expertise, we enhance businesses with financial solutions and FX market analysis to optimise efficiency, mitigate currency risk, and protect margins.Department OverviewThe Sales department is responsible for strategic planning of overall business growth, identifying opportunities with new companies and clients for all Monex currency products (FX Spot, Forwards, Options). It maintains relationships with existing clients, increases revenue, and cross‑collaborates with the Introducing Brokers (IB) department wherever possible.Job OverviewThe Head Desk (Germany) oversees the main revenue‑generating areas of the business with oversight over the German market. The holder is responsible for ensuring that the sales team meets targets and operates in accordance with the firm’s code of conduct and regulatory obligations.Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesSales Business StrategyMonitor effectiveness of strategies in line with performance and adapt where necessary; provide feedback from teams on new products and initiatives that will increase revenue.Sales TrainingDevelop and implement an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process; implement best practice in sales techniques; use client databases effectively; lead the negotiations for contracts with customers and ensure commerciality.Sales Staff ManagementOverall responsibility for daily performance of the sales team, setting revenue targets and KPIs; assess performance against KPIs with sales managers; recruit employees who are ‘fit and proper’; manage performance and progression of sales staff.Operational Sales Related ActivitiesWork under the direction of the Head of Front Office to balance revenue delivery & regulatory compliance; lead by example to ensure adherence to regulatory principles; assist in identifying system controls weaknesses; stay commercially aware; lead distribution and marketing of financial products in Germany; plan and represent Monex at client events and conferences.Compliance, Risk & RegulatoryCollaborate with Financial Crime and Regulatory Compliance teams to complete client onboarding; ensure adherence to BdE and local regulations.Key Skills & Experience RequiredPrevious sales and leadership experience in a B2B role.Experience working within a regulated financial services firm.Able to work autonomously and independently.Clear understanding of risk management and compliance within a regulated environment.Extensive proven knowledge of FX products.Build credibility with clients and colleagues across a complex, multicultural organisation.Lead by example, embodying company culture and values.Anticipate issues and risks, mitigating accordingly.Systems / Knowledge SkillsMS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Databases – FXDB (in‑house).HR Systems – Workday.LanguagesHigh standard of oral & written German and English (mandatory).Fluency in other European languages (e.g., Spanish, Dutch, Luxembourgish) is desirable. xsgfvud We’re looking for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment and who embraces Monex’s culture of enthusiasm and high performance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
