We are looking for Operations Managers to support the current Ops team in our growing Distribution Centre in Lelystad. Lead and drive the operation from the front, ensuring compliance, performance, and the delivery of a world-class service to our customer • Measure and review operational performance against company and customer KPI’s and implement appropriate actions to seek continuous improvement • Drive communication, engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the warehouse with a constant focus on reviewing and improving processes • Plan, supervise and coordinate Lelystad Platform operation during shifts / areas • Provide training and assessments to teams. Performance evaluations • Guarantee the necessary resources for Warehouse Managers • Coordinate Warehouse Manager teams Bachelor’s degree/HBO in related fields • Min 3 years of experience in Logistics/warehouse knowledge (Operations Manager) in automated logistics / distribution centres / warehouse / stockrooms • Good PC skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook along with knowledge of creating and interrogating spreadsheets and data • Knowledge of English at a professional level • Knowledge of Spanish and Dutch is also an advantage • Planning, conflict analysis and resolution • Strong communication skills with influence and innovation skills • Working at GXO Logistics means working in a dynamic and international organization.
