Descúbralo a continuación.Introduction to the vacant position:The Nanomalaria Group is looking for an Early Stage Researcher to work on the development of a new drug against malaria. The contract will be within the framework of the project DAMPA ( DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW GENERATION OF ANTIMALARIAL DRUGS FOR THE POST-ARTEMISININ ERA) , whose main objective is the synthesis and characterization of new compounds with high activity against malaria.Main tasks and responsibilities:Testing of new potential antimalarial compounds in parasite cultures.Encapsulation of these new compounds in immunoliposomes.Cytotoxicity assays of these new compounds.Requirements for candidates:Essential:Experience in the culture ofPlasmodiumfalciparum .Experience in the encapsulation of drugs in liposomes.Competencies and skills: Communication, Teamwork and collaboration, Commitment, Proactivity, Integrity, Critical and Analytical thinking.High level of EnglishWe Offer:Number of available positions: 1Starting date: November, 2023Working conditions:Full timecontract.Very competitive salary.Measures to reconcile work and family life (maternity and paternity leave, flexible schedule working hours, 23 working days of paid holidays, 9 leave days for personal matters, among others).IBEC ensures equality of access to professional development opportunities irrespective of employment status, length at IBEC or other factors.
