The candidate will join a collaborative team of educators dedicated to fostering excellence in education.Contract Type: Full-time, long-termStart Date: November-December 2025Location: Bilbao, on-site classes at DigiPen campusKey Responsibilities:Deliver in-person instruction in undergraduate courses aligned with your expertise.Engage in independent or collaborative research in areas such as AI, graphics, computer vision, software engineering, education technology, applied mathematics/physics. Teaching loads may be reduced for those actively pursuing research.Support and guide undergraduate students in coursework, projects, and professional development.Contribute to the continuous improvement of course content and align it with industry trends and academic standards.Must-have Qualifications:Ph.D. in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related field.Proven ability to teach effectively in English.Expertise in at least one of the following areas:Computer Graphics, simulation software, computer vision, AI, machine learning, game development, or software engineering.Skilled in some of the following tools/languages:Java, C#, Python (preferred)Graphics APIs: OpenGL, Direct3D, Vulkan.Unity, Unreal Engine.MatLab, LaTex.Git, TensorFlow, SQL.Preferred Qualifications:Industry experience in a relevant field.Demonstrated ability to secure external research funding.Proficiency in Spanish (preferred but not required).Benefits and Work Environment:Salary commensurate to candidate experience.Flexible schedule with opportunities for remote work part of the week.A collaborative academic environment with opportunities to shape the future of DigiPen’s research and educational initiatives.Application Requirements:A detailed CV, including an updated list of publications.Recommended: A one-page cover letter describing your background, research interests, and reasons for wanting to join DigiPen.Recommended: Portfolio of projects, or any supplementary materials.Application Deadline:Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the positions are filled.About us:DigiPen Europe-Bilbao, established in Bilbao since 2011, provides an exciting, student-centered atmosphere.
