And we offer you the freedom to be a positive disrupter and turn big ideas into bold, industry-changing realities.For our business, for clients, and for you**Role**: Vice President**Location:** Madrid**Department:** Loan Agency (Transaction Management)**Employment Type**: Full time Permanent**Role summary:**As a Vice President you will be managing complex syndicated loan transactions from setup to completion, including monitoring borrower compliance, coordinating amendments and waivers, managing loan transfers, and liaising between lenders, borrowers, and advisors.**Key responsibilities:**• Monitor and control the periodic or one-off compliance by the borrower of all obligations and compulsory actions and milestones set forth in the financing agreements.• Support, supervision and train other junior members of the team.• Close and manage complex transactions.• Set up new transactions using our Agency Management Monitoring Tool.• Manage and coordinate our KYC requirements in respect of all lenders and borrowers for any new transaction.• Manage and coordinate amendments or waiver processes until resolution.• Ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to agreed client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines.• Assist the lenders in the decision-making processes when such intermediation is required and, in general, in any consultation related to the Financing.• Coordinate, manage and register the communications and issues raised among borrowers, lenders, obligors and advisers of the Financing.• Coordinate, organize and participate in meetings and conference calls required by the day-to-day management of the Agency.• Manage and coordinate loan transfers between existing and new incoming lenders.• Manage ad hoc distributions.• Coordinate the agency duties with the Loans Administration and Business Development department and support the activity of the Loans Administration department when required.**Skills Required**• At least 6 years of experience in the banking / financial / legal advisory sector.• Excellent work attitude, quick and willing learner and proficient team player.• Eagerness to pay attention to detail and going the extra mile in all aspects of the role.• Syndicated Loan Experience, ideally Middle office, Loan Administration background is a plus.• Experience with Intralinks/ Debt domain or similar loans communication tools is an advantage.• Spanish and C2 English a must.• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.• Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks accordingly.• Ability to take initiative and multitasking.• Strong work ethic, a proactive approach and can-do mindset.• Willingness to learn and get relevant experience in the syndicated loans sector.**What you will get in return:****High Visibility & Impact**: Be part of a growing organization where your contributions are recognized and valued.**Inclusive & International Culture:** Enjoy a friendly, collaborative work atmosphere in a diverse, multicultural environment.**Global Communication**: Work daily with English-speaking colleagues and clients, enhancing your international exposure.**Career Growth:** Join one of the world’s leading independent fund administrators, offering exciting opportunities for professional development and advancement.**Competitive Compensation:** Receive a market-adjusted salary and benefits package designed to reward your expertise.**Dynamic Environment:** Experience the energy of a rapidly expanding company on an upward trajectory.Disclaimer: Unsolicited CVs sent to Apex (Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Managers) by recruitment agencies will not be accepted for this position.
