The company develops, builds, finances, manages, and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.We are currently looking for aSenior Financial Modeller , with extensive experience in advanced financial modeling at HoldCo level, NAV Financing, and U.S. Tax Equity structures, based inMadrid or Sevilla:What will you help with?Develop and manage integrated HoldCo-level financial models, incorporating multiple SPVs, technologies, and geographies.Lead NAV Financing modeling, including cash waterfalls, covenants, dividend upstream, leverage optimization, and stress testing.Build and maintain project and portfolio-level models for BESS (stand-alone and hybrid), solar, and wind assets across greenfield, brownfield, and operating stages.Model BESS-specific economics, including revenue stacking, degradation, and merchant exposure.Structure and analyze U.S. Tax Equity transactions (Partnership Flip, Sale-Leaseback, Inverted Lease, ITC/PTC monetization).Perform scenario analysis, sensitivities, and downside cases at project, portfolio, and HoldCo level.Provide financial support to M&A, platform acquisitions, refinancings, and portfolio leverage initiatives.Support the entry of financial partners and tax equity investors, including transaction modeling and documentation support.Coordinate with internal teams (Development, M&A, Asset Management) and external stakeholders (banks, investors, advisors).Prepare and present financial analyses and reports to Senior Management and Fund Shareholders.Who you are?7–10+ years of experience in financial modeling within renewable energy IPPs, infrastructure/energy funds, or investment banking / project finance.Proven hands-on experience in HoldCo and NAV financing models, renewable assets (BESS, solar, wind), greenfield and brownfield projects, and U.S. Tax Equity structures.Advanced Excel proficiency, with strong capabilities in complex model structuring and auditing.Solid understanding of Project Finance vs. HoldCo Finance, key financial metrics (IRR, NPV, DSCR, LLCR), and cash waterfalls and covenant packages.Fluent English (mandatory).Experience with international, multi-technology renewable energy portfolios.Knowledge of corporate PPAs, merchant exposure, and capacity/ancillary service markets (especially for BESS).Experience using Python, VBA, Power BI, or financial automation tools.What we offer:Hybrid model with 2 flexible days a week working from home.Stable employment based on a permanent contract.Real chances to grow inside a global, multicultural environment.Free health insurance.Free snacks and well-equipped facilities.Language and technical training on demand.Free meal vouchers.Flexible payment plan (transportation, childcare).We're an equal opportunity employer. xsgfvud All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.*** WE ARE NOT USING THIRD PARTIES IN ORDER TO COVER THIS POSITION ***By selecting “Apply” above, you indicate you have read and acknowledge Opdenergy Candidates Privacy Notice:
