We are looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer with a Get Stuff Done mentality and a passion for innovation. You will design, develop, and optimise smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure, balancing fast execution with high security and quality.Location: We hire with a focus on Dubai and Europe. For this role, candidates based in Dubai or working remotely within ±4 hours GST time are preferred.ResponsibilitiesDesign and optimise blockchain product architecture with a focus on scalability, security, and performanceLead development, auditing, and integration of smart contracts within decentralised protocolsConduct technical research and PoCs, implementing best practices in blockchain developmentDevelop and improve cross-chain interoperability solutions (cross-chain swaps, bridges)Design and develop efficient algorithms with a focus on gas optimisationDefine and implement CI/CD processes for blockchain developmentAnalyse and address potential attack vectors and ensure security best practicesMonitor emerging blockchain, Web3, and crypto technologiesPerform rigorous code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce best practices in blockchain engineeringCollaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launchesRequirements7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in blockchain engineeringDeep understanding of blockchain ecosystems, smart contracts (Solidity, Yul, EVM), and dAppsHands-on experience with Ethereum, Layer 2 solutions (Optimistic & ZK Rollups), and cross-chain protocolsProven track record in technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and mentoring teamsStrong background in blockchain security and smart contract auditsSkillsSolidity, Yul, Rust, TypeScriptSmart xsgfvud contract development and deployment frameworks (Foundry, Hardhat)Understanding of DeFi protocols, AMMs, liquidity pools, and oracle integrationsBlockchain security principles and auditing methodologiesExperience in building high-performance distributed systemsWhy you’ll love working with usJoin a young, creative team in a fast-paced, supportive environmentOpen to new ideas — pitch your visionCompetitive pay aligned with skills and experienceBe part of shaping the future of DeFiUnlimited vacation daysFully compensated for work gear to set you up for successAnnual team retreats at top international locations#J-18808-Ljbffr
